This exhibition documents the response to the events of September 11, 2001 by New York's waterfront workers. Through the taped words and photographic portraits of these individuals and their vessels, the exhibit simultaneously introduces visitors to individual heroes and to the vital contributions of harbor workers to the city's economy and culture.
