Bowne Print Shop 
Bowne & Co., Stationers, is a working 19th century-style print shop. 

Entry level:
Assist with the interpretation and explanation of the 19th century printing industry’s importance to trade. Greet and help customers with their purchases and orientation to the historic district and Museum. Training is provided.

Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills. Interest in history and design.

Specialized:
Interns who are willing to commit to two days a week over three months to learn letterpress printing may be promoted to apprentice printers on the supervisor’s recommendation.

Hours: 
Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 AM-5 PM, one or two days a week when the shop is open.
